General
Presbyterian Christian Doctrine is based on the Holy Bible. “We believe in Christ alone, received by faith alone, through grace alone because of the blood of Christ alone as taught in the only infallible guide of truth – the Bible alone and give Glory to God alone.” This statement guides everything we do.
Because of this, Presbyterian Christian Doctrine does not involve itself in details of creed, believing that every Christian is entitled to his or her own understanding of the details of Biblical truth.
The dictum of the early Christian church – “In essentials unity, in nonessential liberty, in all things charity” – is a driving force in our ministry. We believe that Christians committed to following Christ will be tolerant of divergent opinions and will rejoice in the shared gospel truth that unites them.
The focus of Presbyterian Christian Doctrine Blog is on providing a simple, clear, positive gospel message and the Doctrine base on the teaching of John Calvin. Our aim is to encourage, and not to tear down. While from time to time we may discuss different religious or spiritual beliefs, this will not be done in a personally judgmental way. This means that no content will be permitted on this website and its associated social media which may be perceived as being demeaning or insulting to another person. Comments that breach this standard will be removed.
